Dummy assembly

With a cycle time of 2 seconds per dummy, these automation concepts are extremely efficient and allow a production capacity of up to 10 million dummies per year. They consist of four assembly cells and are designed for two different shield sizes and six different mouthpieces.

As bulk material, the shield and the mouthpiece are fed separately to the first assembly cell. The products are then transported via the transfer system to the second assembly cell, where a pin with or without a ring is pressed onto the plate. The parts are welded in the third assembly cell using ultrasonic technology. The parts are labelled and packed in the fourth cell.
