The razor blades are loaded manually onto the workpiece carriers on special product holders at the manual workstation. The workpiece carriers are transported from the air-conditioned room into the workshop through an airlock.

Two of the 9 product holders are transferred from the workpiece carrier to the customer’s automatic station via a centering station on a movable E-axis and reset after the machining process.

The overhaul module can be used to carry out quality checks using a random sampling procedure without disrupting the further material flow.

On the return line, the product holders are unloaded by a robot and the empty workpiece carriers are then transported back through an airlock into the air-conditioned room to the loading station.
